Kevin started beekeeping in May of 2008 and maintains anywhere from four to a dozen hives along with hives of different form factors (Top Bar, Layens, Warre, etc.).  Sometimes he has many types in service and other times it is scaled down – it changes over time.

Kevin actively participates with the Northwest New Jersey Beekeepers Association that serves Hunterdon and Warren Counties in NJ.  He is a past president of the organization and serves as their webmaster and YouTube administrator.

Kevin obtained his EAS Master Beekeeper certification in July 2019 and can be found training locally and regionally throughout the year on various topics and produces the Podcast The Beekeeper's Corner (since April 2010) throughout the year, putting out on average an episode every two weeks.
