Palm Beach County Beekeepers Association welcomes the opportunity to educate any and all who are interested in Honey Bees.
Please realize there are times when the Association gets overwhelmed with requests, therefore we request you read the following requirements to help us help you.
When you contact us with a request, here’s the information we need to know:
- Date, time, duration, and location of the event.
- Expected audience size as well as age group.
- Requested topic for Honey Bee presentation.
Example: History & General Beekeeping at the Pine Jog Education Center, 25 attendees, 5th Graders on July 13 at 2:00 PM for 45 minutes.
Palm Beach County Beekeepers Association is run by volunteers. Time and availability is limited, therefore it’s important to make requests at least 30 days prior to the event. The association requests a minimum $50 donation for this service.
ALL money collected helps us educate the public and protect honey bees. We can generate additional funding by selling local honey at events, if applicable and allowed.
