At our March 1st Fun meeting there are two opportunities to win tickets for a two day bee college  to bee held in Davie Florida. 

The retail cost for this two day event held by the University of Florida's is over $175.00 per ticket.

Come and enjoy Green Cay Nature Center.  We could use some volunteers to teach visitors about the importance of the honey bees.   This is a beautiful County Park with lots of boardwalks and trails to enjoy the wildlife.

The meeting is how decisions are decided, which gives direction of the association.

Everyone that attends receives a raffle ticket and has a chance on winning a 5 frame nuc with frames and foundation. All you have to do is paint it and add bees.

We are in routine splitting, queen caging, and grafting here on our farm and would like to invite other beekeepers to see what it takes to raise your own queens.

 We will choose frames to graft from, cage queens, and make splits for this process.  And

PBCBA will bee at the Daggerwing Nature Center April 21th from 10 AM to 2 PM to help them celebrate Earth Day 2017.

We will be manning the PBCBKA booth at the Rare Fruit Council's plant sale.  The event is from 9 am to 2 pm.   Setup starts at 8 AM

Any members of the PBCBKA who want to assist us in education and honey sales are welcome.

Dr. Tew will be giving a presentation on each of these subjects. With his knowledge and insight that has been from all the years as a beekeeper. This will be FREE to current 2017 paid members. Non-paid members will be $10.00 donation at the door.
