The day will be broken into separate segments. Come to all or pick your desired session. Non Member registration opens 3/29/26. This Workshop is FREE for Members. $15 non members.

HONEY HOUSE TOUR
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Get behind-the-scenes access to Sierra’s newly expanded Honey House. Learn how honey is extracted, processed, creamed, and packaged, and what it takes to manage bees for private clients across South Florida.

CREAMED HONEY PROCESSING
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Sierra is offering a hands-on creamed honey processing session. Open for everyone to experience. The first 10 participants who express interest may have their honey processed. If interested, email info@palmbeachbeekeepers.org.
Requirements to have honey creamed:
- Bring 1 bucket with 45 lbs of honey
- Honey must be liquid and not crystallized
- First processing pass completed during workshop
- Two additional passes are required over the following days
- Finished honey is available for pickup a few days later
| Please Note: Creamed honey will not be ready the same day. Participants must plan for later pickup. |
Other participants can enjoy the honey creaming demo. |

EQUIPMENT WAX DIPPING (Additional Charge)
Approx. 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Special event pricing: $5 per deep • $4 per medium • $3 per lid/bottom board
• Wax dipping runs continuously in the afternoon • Painting must be done while the boxes are hot • Bring your own oil-based paint if painting (painting stations will be available) • Boxes may be pre-stained before dipping

• Lunch (Picnic style - tables & chairs available) • Honey (45 lbs if creaming - email us first) • Hive equipment for dipping (additional charge) • Oil-based paint (if painting) |
