Join Palm Beach County Beekeepers Association for a beginner-level workshop at Mounts Botanical Garden in West Palm Beach, where we'll delve into the basics of beekeeping and get you buzzing with knowledge! This workshop will be indoors.
During this hands-on workshop, you'll gain essential insights on how to build a 5-frame Nuc box and learn about essential beekeeping equipment. Our expert member volunteers will guide you through the process, covering all entry-level information to set you on the path to successful beekeeping. A live observation hive will also be available for a close-up view inside a beehive.
The ticket cost covers a complete 5-frame Nuc box kit that you will build/assemble during the workshop and take home so you can start your beekeeping journey. The box kit will include a top lid, bottom board, 5 frame Nuc box, and 5 frames with foundation. Participants will also have the option to dip their boxes in and Eco Wood Treatment stain sealant.
