Understanding Florida’s Cottage Food and Cosmetic Manufacturer Exemptions

Are you interested in learning about cottage food operations or selling honey as a cottage food product? Do you have questions about what soaps, lotions, or creams you can make in your home without a permit? In 2021, Legislature amended Florida's rules and regulations related to cottage food operations and specific cosmetic manufacturing. Join us in learning about these two exemptions and if your product(s) from the hive qualify to be processed in your home and sold without a permit.
