Keeping Bees in Today’s World: The 3 Pillars of Beekeeping
Join us for an insightful presentation by Andrew Wagner, as he shares a practical, seasonal approach to successful beekeeping in today’s challenging environment.
This talk will walk through the beekeeping calendar year, highlighting what bees naturally manage on their own, and what they rely on us to provide. Andrew will dive into the three core pillars of modern beekeeping:
-
Queen health and viability
-
Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
-
Nutrition and understanding the bee diet
Learn how these elements work together, how a poor diet can impact queen performance and pest resistance, and what proactive steps you can take at each stage of the year to support a healthy, thriving colony.
