Intermediate Beekeeping Workshop
Take your inspections further, sharpen your skills, read the brood pattern, and make confident hive decisions.
Date: April 25, 2026
Time: 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Location: Lake Worth, FL (to be released prior to event)
Instructor: Eric Baxter (Baxter’s Bees)

Ready to go deeper inside the hive? This intermediate-level, hands-on workshop is designed for beekeepers who already understand the basics and want to refine inspection skills, strengthen colony management, and learn practical troubleshooting techniques.

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Conduct deeper hive evaluations with real-world guidance
  • Identify signs of colony strength, stress, and common issues
  • Review brood patterns and discuss queen performance indicators
  • Ask targeted questions and gain confidence making inspection-based decisions

Led by Eric Baxter of Baxter’s Bees, this session builds on foundational knowledge and provides a more detailed look at what experienced beekeepers monitor during inspections.

Recommended for: beekeepers with active hives, those who have attended a beginner workshop, or anyone ready to level up their hive inspection skills.

PBCBA Exclusive Plant Access

Melissa McGuaghey-Moyroud of Lorax Designs will provide participants with exclusive access to a curated selection of bee-friendly plants available for purchase. Hummingbird and butterfly plants are also available upon request.

Space may be limited to keep this experience hands-on and interactive.
